Back to Normal

We've gotten back to normal around the Maglinger house.  Woody has shaved the gross holiday beard he always grows during his time off. Awana has resumed at church, story hour is back at the library, Delaware School is back in session and Will is walking around the house searching for food and banging his head on things for fun.
Hope's reading skills continue to improve.  Here we are practicing site words and learning to flip.
She really badly wants to be allowed to flip the pancakes when we make them.  I told her if she masters these sight word egg flipping then we may give that a try.  Speaking of mastering things... She has mastered blowing bubbles with real gum.  To her, this is one step closer to being a teenager.
Painting is more fun now that we have a real artist's palate.
Dad likes to dress up Will like George Washington using Hope's Cinderella wig put on backwards.  Poor Will.  Speaking of Will, he is really learning some words.  It is super cute.  "uh oh" "Crack" (cracker) "quack", "cook" (cookie), "bath" "ball" and of course "Momma" not to be confused with "mom mom" which is Elmo.  Hope is "EEEEE" (from Hopi which we all call her.)
Soon, I will comb through all the zillions of Christmas photos and post those but for now, I'm kind of enjoying things just being normal for a while.
