We have had a rough time the past week or so. Little Will has been sick, an ER visit, several trips to Owensboro Pediatrics, working more than I want to, Hope has had some belly troubles, other family has been sick, just some overall bummers going on. To type it out, it doesn't look so bad after all. It took its toll on me for sure and really everyone in the family. One morning when Hope was crying for what to me seemed like no reason at all, I talked to her about how God cares about our heartbreaks so much that he keeps all of our tears in a jar. (see Psalm 56:8). Hope's tears dried up as the wheels in her head started turning.... "Kind of like how we collect bugs in a jar?" Well, sort of... except we've never collected bugs in a jar. Grammy? Are you all stashing away some bugs somewhere?

| We have spent a lot of time at home trying to get everyone well. I've pulled out all the stops trying to entertain these kiddos of mine. Isn't banging on pots a right of passage for any infant/toddler? So if that's what it takes to get supper cooked, that's what we'll do. See Will's eyes? He is bracing himself for the loud noise he is making with his spoon. |

| Hope is right in there getting in on the action! |
 |
| Other ways to entertain ourselves is the ol' standby "projects." Hope is happiest when doing a project. Today's craft: A paper bag house. Lots of fun and pretty easy too. |

Here's the finished product. Pretty cute eh?
