Saddle Up Your Horses!

If you have talked to Will lately, he may have told you that his Pappy was buying him a blue pony.  "Next week!"  This is not at all true.  I have no idea where this came from.  Nevertheless, it was a good time to bring home this rocking horse.  It was Woody III's: stored in Mamaw's basement for years.  Occasionally some kiddos play on it when we head down there for tornado warnings.  If you've ever been in Mamaw's basement, you know it is no ordinary basement.  The horse did not even need to be dusted off.  (Mamaw has the gift of cleanliness.)  If it had been on my side of the family, it would have to have mud dauber nests knocked off of it and washed with some heavy duty cleaning supplies.  Both of our kiddos are enjoying this guy!
Will still won't ride a real horse (which makes his tall tale about the blue pony even more baffling), but this guy is already a good friend! He lets him wear his cars sunglasses, feeds him and even lets him drink milk from his sippy cup.

Ride 'em cowboy!

Howdy ya'll!

Hope actually spends the most time on the horse.  She has plans to learn to be a "trick rider."  She also has plans for Pappy's wallet.  She wants him to buy her a side saddle.  "Because that's how Belle rides."

This is Woody III riding Mr. Horse.  The ol' guy has held up very well!
