It was a good way to spend the morning. We decided to head to the museum. During the winter, we discovered the Playzeum...a great little indoor playground when it's too cold to get outside...or when it's about 100 degrees outside and even the pools sound too hot.

Hope had a good time here. There's a lot more than these picture show.

She must be getting bigger. Today she climbed in the tunnels all by herself. That's a first for her.

We packed a lunch and ate down with the other kiddos in the Mammoth Cafe.

The reason we chose today to head to the museum was that they were advertising a petting zoo. I told Hope we were going. She kept asking me where the monkeys were. She has a different idea of what a zoo is. The brave museum workers set the petting zoo up INSIDE. Who's going to clean this up? I need to know.

Hope was very timid at the petting zoo. See all the kids huddled in the background? They are petting geese and picking up turtles. Hope was terrified of the little animals. But the donkey - no problem.

They also had this. It's a....well, we'll call it a zedonkey. It's a cross between a zebra and donkey. Only in Owensboro, folks.

Oh, and they had a kangaroo. In my mind, kangaroos are much bigger. This little guy wasn't even as big as Hope. But he sure does like chips.

So there ya go. That's how we spent the morning. Now, my little worn out Hope is enjoying a nap. Cheers to naps!
